Business Metropole Ruhr GmbH (BMR) develops and markets the Metropole Ruhr as a business location. It bundles the economic interests of the 53 cities in the region. With 5 million inhabitants, the Ruhr region is Europe's third-largest metropolis. The aim of BMR's work is to increase the competitiveness of the Ruhr region. This includes the continuous further development of the Metropole Ruhr as well as promoting the image of the business location as a high-performance and innovative region both nationally and internationally.
